If you're a newbie and have been wanting to take the plunge into alcohol markers, ohuhu are your best quality for your money!
PROS:
-Affordable
-High quality for the price
-lighter tones are able to layer and build
-comes with a non-bleed slip
-comes with a convenient carrying case (I use it constantly)
-last a long time
Cons:
-do not offer refills
-do not allow to buy markers individually
-not as many light tones as Copics
My advice would be to start with a set of Ohuhus and buy copic colors to replace any of the markers you use up. And buy copics or Blick brand markers to fill in any color gaps you need. This way you don't have to invest a lot of money into Copics and can slowly build your collection over time.
I bought these markers over a year ago and use them often for my art. I tend to reach to them before my Copics because I have more colors and Ohuhu just has a special place in my heart.
They can't compare to the range of lighter tones that Copic has, but they are a great addition to any alcohol marker collection.
