We tried some other books that were cheaper and they either tore easily or the ink really ghosted / bled through too much. Ohuhu marker books are high quality and there's very little ghosting. Of course, you should use the paper protector sheet that comes with the book if you're using alcohol pens. I trimmed mine down so it would more easily slide in and out of the book's inner pocket but then of course it's a bit smaller than the actual paper and I have to be mindful when coloring edges. So far no problem. The cover being sort of shiny makes it a little difficult to personalize -- something I think artists like to do -- but with some creativity, it can be done. Perhaps Ohuhu could create a more matte cover we could decorate ourselves in future.
