It's not small but it's also not huge to the point to where you gotta change bags just to carry it around. It came with the page shield that help stopping the markers to bleed to the other page and it's crazy how other company's aren't doing that at all! But the paper is of excellent quality and I don't plan on buying any other brand of sketchbook now...

I like working with gouache paint and I've never had an issue with bleeding. They also gives you a convenient plastic like sheet to use on the back of your paper so it if it does bleed it will protect your other pages which I really appreciate that. I give it five stars.
